Rourkela: In a tragic incident, a cop died after his car rammed into a road divider near Bishra Square here on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Manoj Kumar Nayak. He was the officer-in-charge of Kuanrmunda police outpost in Rourkela.
The accident took place when he was returning home after duty late last night. He died on the spot.
According to the sources, Nayak lost control over the wheels, following which it rammed into a road divider.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the body and the vehicle.
