Cuttack: A clash between two groups left several injured in Cuttack on Thursday.
According to reports, the clash broke out between residents of Sarvodayanagar and Sweeper colonies here over parking issue. Several people, including women, were injured as both groups threw bottles and pelted each other with stones even on cops, who reached the spot, attempted to pacify them.
Badambadi inspector-in-charge (IIC) Biranchi Narayan Pati and Purighat (IIC) Tapas Chandra Pradhan were also injured in the attack.
Following the incident, twin cities Police Commissioner Y B Khurania and Cuttack DCP Akhileswar Singh rushed to the spot accompanied by a platoon of police force.
As many as 25 people were arrested in connection with the incident.
