Yes, you read it right! ‘Weddings From Home’ is gaining popularity during the corona crisis.
Popular matrimonial website Shaadi.com has come up with this novel concept of ‘wedding from home’ to help couples who had planned to get hitched this year.
As per reports, the weddings are being solemnized on video calling app Zoom to ensure that social distancing norms are not violated during the lockdown period.
The ‘Weddings From Home’ service is available for couples belonging to all religions.
Sharing about this new concept, Shaadi.com posted on social media platform, “Don’t want to push your wedding date? You don’t have to. DM us your details, and our team of Panditjis, Maulvis and Priests will perform the rituals via video-conferencing for your”.
So far, Shaadi.com has organized two such weddings during the lockdown period.
The first couple to get married from home via video calling app is Avinash and Kriti .The couple got hitched on April 14, 2020.
