New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has launched a helpline number and email id to handle the grievances of the students amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The students can shoot their queries related to exams and other academic activities at 011-23236374 and also e-mail their concerns at covid19help.ugc@gmail.com.
In a circular on Sunday, UGC requested all educational institutions in the country to formulate a Grievance Redressal Cell to address the concerns of students.
All universities and colleges have to upload the notice on their respective official website and also share it with the teachers and students via email and other digital media platforms, the circular further read.
Meanwhile, a task force was constituted to look into the concerns of students, teachers, and institutions, and address them accordingly.
