Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday informed that 90 more COVID-19 patients had recovered from the infection, taking the cured tally to 977.
Among them, 23 are from Jagatsinghpur, 22 from Jajpur, 21 from Bhadrak, 15 from Ganjam, 3 from Cuttack, 2 each from Khurda and Sambalpur, and one each from Balasore and Nayagarh, the Health Department tweeted, adding that they are being discharged from COVID hospitals.
Earlier in the day, Odisha had seen 67 more people testing positive for virus and the total touching 1723.
With seven deaths and 977 recoveries, the state now has 737 active cases. Two COVID-19 patients have died for other health complications.
