Bhubaneswar: In yet another case of human desperation, some migrant workers came walking all the way from Mumbai to Khariar Road in Nuapada district on Monday.
The district administration made arrangement for their rest and food immediately after their arrival in the western Odisha town. Later, they were sent to quarantine centres as per the Government protocol.
Earlier, cases of people coming on bicycle, motorcycle and even walking along the railway tracks have been reported from different parts of the State.
Nuapada is one of the most backward districts in Odisha from where large number of poor people migrate to outside states in search of livelihood every year.
