Bhubaneswar: Khurda district on Tuesday reported one more corona positive case from Madhusudan Nagar in Bhubaneswar, taking the affected tally to 47.
It was after a gap of 14 days that the district designated as a red zone saw a fresh case.
Meanwhile, Mission Director, NRHM, Shalini Pandit has written to Khurda Collector Sitanshu Kumar Rout informing him about over 250 people, who had arrived in the district from West Bengal in the last few weeks. They were tracked through their BSNL mobile numbers, the letter said.
“These persons may please be located, home quarantined and their sample collected for testing,” Pandit said.
This has aroused concern as most cases detected in Odisha in the last few days have been linked to Bengal.
