Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority has decided to strictly enforce the guidelines of the ongoing lockdown following sudden spurt in coronapositive cases in the Capital City.
The enforcement squads attached to zonal deputy commissioner, special joint squads, smart city squads and central squads under Enforcement Officer, BDA will enforce the norms besides promoting awareness among the people.
The squads will look into social distancing at different shops which are allowed to open as per the norms of the BMC and closure of shops at the prescribed time. They will also ensure that the owners and employees are wearing face masks and providing hand sanitizers to the customers.
Three coronapositive cases were reported from the places of Bhubaneswar including VSS Nagar, Mancheswar and Surya Nagar yesterday.
