Bhubaneswar: The Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) on Thursday, issued an advisory to all the education officials in the state to create awareness among school children for containing COVID-19.

The advisory has been issued to all the District Education Officers (DEOs), District Project Coordinators (DPCs) and Block Education Officers (BEOs) of the state. The headmasters and headmistresses of all government and private schools should be actively involved in spreading awareness among the students, directed the advisory.

The advisory was issued by OSEPA after the Chief Secretaries of all the states received a letter from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) regarding the same.

Till date, Coronavirus has claimed nearly 3,000 lives across the world. So far, 30 confirmed cases have been reported in India.
