Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BMC) has arranged for paid quarantine facility in six more hotels in Bhubaneswar in view of the coronavirus outbreak.
“Though most government buildings as per the suitability has already been designated as quarantine facilities, it appears that pay and use quarantine facility is also an essential requirement to contain the spread of COVID-19,” the BMC said in a notification on Tuesday.

The rate per day per room includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, besides two bottles of water, the notification said.
These are in addition to the three hotels — Ginger Hotel at Jaydev Vihar, Empires Hotel at Saheed Nagar and Hotel Kalinga Ashok at Kalpana Square — in the Odisha capital that have already been designated as pay and use quarantine facility at Rs 2500 per day basis for 14 days.
A total of 19 persons are currently staying at these facilities.

“A person intending to be self-quarantine should approach any of the hotels above to avail this facility on pay and use basis,” it added.
