New Delhi: The number of positive COVID-19 cases has reached 649 in India. 13 persons have died of the disease so far, the Union Health Ministry informed.
Maharashtra is the worst-afffected with 125 cases, followed by Kerala. Deaths were reported from Kashmir, Gujarat and Maharashtra on Thursday.
Globally, the total number of positive cases has surged to 471,794 with 21,297 deaths. However,
114,703 people have recovered. Deaths in Spain has crossed that of China, and now stands at 3,647. Italy leads the number of deaths at 7,503. The United States has reached the third position in the number of positive cases at 68,489.
China claims to have no new domestic cases and lifted lockdown measures from Hubei province on Wednesday.
