Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Assembly has been adjourned till March 29 as a precautionary measure against the coronavirus outbreak.
Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro adjourned the Assembly on Friday after a proposal given by the government chief whip Pramila Mallick was passed in a voice vote.
While the BJP had opposed the proposal, the Congress supported adjournment of the House.
The budget session of the Assembly will conclude on April 9.
