Cuttack: Acting on a Supreme Court to take precautionary measures to check the spread of the novAll Postsel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Orissa High Court has issued a set of guidelines for lawyers.
THE GUIDELINES:
To avoid congregation inside a court room, the lawyers who are going to deal with cases, should attend the court with the litigant concerned , if it is absolutely necessary.
The conducting lawyers and litigants of not more than 10 matters should enter the court room at a time.
For safety purposes, it is also requested to avoid congregating outside the court rooms as far as practicable.
Considering the importance of the safety measures for health, all concerned are requested to cooperate in this regard in the interest of all.
A notification to this effect was issued by the Registrar (Judicial) LK Das on Friday.
