Cuttack: An Irish national, who was admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital here with suspected symptoms of coronavirus disease (Covid 19), went missing from the isolation ward of the hospital on Thursday.
This incident has spread panic among people.
The Irish man was running a fever when he landed at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar and was marked suspicious after the mandatory thermal scanner screening. He was then admitted to the SCB, emergency official B Maharana said.
A case in this regard has been lodged at Mangalapur police station, he added.
