Cotton Factory Gutted In Odisha’s Khurda

Khurda: A major fire engulfed a cotton factory in the district on Wednesday. No casualty was reported.

According to sources, employees of the company saw smoke coming out of the factory in Radhacharanpur and informed the Fire personnel.

Fire tenders from Khurda and Jatni rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. Though the exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, short circuit is suspected to be behind the mishap.

Property worth Rs 30 lakh was suspected to be damaged in the mishap.
