Cotton Trader Robbed Of Rs 7.57 Lakh In Rayagada

Rayagada: In a case of broad daylight robbery, two motorcycle-borne miscreants looted Rs 7.57 lakh from a cotton trader near Majhighariani subway in Rayagada district on Tuesday.

Police sources said the miscreants intercepted the motorcycle of one P. Ramanaya and snatched away a bag containing cash from him, minutes after he came out of Axis Bank after withdrawing money.

Based on the complaint lodged by the victim, police have begun investigation into the matter and launched a manhunt to trace the culprits.
