Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will review the performance of his government in the last five years at the Council of Ministers meeting here on Tuesday evening, which will be telecast live.
As the Election Commission of India is going to announce the schedule for the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Odisha soon, this will be the last meeting of the Council of Ministers in the fourth term of the BJD government in the state.
Sources said the Chief Minister will take stock of the number of welfare schemes the state government has launched in the last five years and their outcome. Ministers will give him feedback on the feasibility of these programmes in their respective constituencies.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister will discuss the fulfilment of the promises his government had made in its poll manifesto in the 2014 elections and the expectations of the people in the forthcoming elections.
