Bargarh: Fire triggered by lightning engulfed a house, killing a couple who was fast asleep, at Bisipali village under Padampur police limits in Bargarh district late on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Kailash Bariha and his wife Kishori.
According to sources, neighbours noticed smoke and rushed to douse the flames. However, they could not save them.
On being informed, police reached the spot and seized the charred bodies for postmortem.
