Couple commits suicide over ‘failed’ love affair in Balasore

Balasore: Upset over a failed love affair, a young couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison in Balasore district on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Arati Dola and her uncle Paramananda Dola of Bahabalpur.

According to reports, the victims were found lying in an unconscious state near Haladipada railway station by some locals, who immediately informed the police. They were rushed to the district headquarters hospital, where doctors declared them dead.

Further investigation into the matter is on.
