Malkangiri: A couple sustained critical injuries after a motorcycle they were riding collided head-on with a ‘102’ ambulance near MV-7 in Malkangiri district on Wednesday.
The duo was rushed to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.
According to information, the ambulance carrying a patient from the district headquarters hospital was returning to the hospital after dropping a patient at MV-34 village when the mishap took place.
Both the vehicles have been badly damaged in the accident.
