The deceased have been identified as Manoj Mahakud (32) and his wife Sasmita Mahakud (28).
According to sources, Sasmita’s sister and brother-in-law grew suspicious when the knocks on the door of the couple elicited no response last night. They along with their family members then broke open the door and were shocked to see them lying unconscious with electric wires around their necks.
It is being suspected that they were electrocuted to death.
Police have seized the bodies and began an investigation to ascertain the reason leading to their death.
