Couple Killed In Car-Truck Collision In Odisha’s Nuapada

Nuapada: A couple was killed as their car collided with a truck in Odisha’s Nuapada district on Friday.

As per reports, Senapati Bagh and his wife Sarita Bagh of Rajamunda village under Khariar police station had gone to  Badadohela village in their car in the morning.

While they were returning on National Highway 353 in the afternoon, their car collided with a truck coming from opposite direction at Badapola under Khariar police limits.

The locals rushed the couple, who were severely injured in the accident, to sub-divisional hospital at Khariar. But they succumbed during the treatment. They are survived by two minor sons and a minor daughter.

On being informed, the police went to the spot and started investigation. They seized both the vehicles while the truck driver has been absconding following the accident.
