Nuapada: A couple was killed as their car collided with a truck in Odisha’s Nuapada district on Friday.
As per reports, Senapati Bagh and his wife Sarita Bagh of Rajamunda village under Khariar police station ha
d gone to Badadohela village in their car in the morning.
While they were returning on National Highway 353 in the afternoon, their car collided with a truck coming from opposite direction at Badapola under Khariar police limits.
The locals rushed the couple, who were severely injured in the accident, to sub-divisional hospital at Khariar. But they succumbed during the treatment. They are survived by two minor sons and a minor daughter.
On being informed, the police went to the spot and started investigation. They seized both the vehicles while the truck driver has been absconding following the accident.
