New Delhi: India seems to be on the right path in the tough battle against the COVID-19 pandemic which is raging across the world.
As many as 141 patients, who had tested positive for novel coronavirus, have recovered in the last 24 hours.
According to Lav Agarwal, joint secretary of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, this is the highest number of recoveries in a day so far.
Speaking to mediapersons on Monday, Agarwal informed that 796 new novel coronavirus cases have been detected in India while 35 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.
The death toll in the country is 324 as of now while 857 patients have recovered, he added.
