Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha went up to 3,32,949 on Friday with 186 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases detected in 26 districts, 108 were from quarantine centres and 78 were local contacts.
Among the districts, Sundargarh reported the highest of 35 new cases, followed by Sambalpur (20), Angul (18), Bargarh (15), Cuttack (14), Puri (14), Balasore (11), Balangir (8), Jajpur (8), Khurda (7), Mayurbhanj (5), Nuapada (4), Sonepur (4) Jharsuguda (3), Keonjhar (2), Boudh (2), Gajapati (2), Nabarangpur (2), Nayagarh (2), Ganjam (1), Jagatsinghpur (1), Deogarh (1), Koraput (1), and Rayagada (1).
Besides, the state pool has 1 positive case.
At present, Odisha has 2,166 active cases while 3,28,832 patients have recovered, according to a release of Information and Public Relations department.
