Malkangiri: As many as 35 Border Security Force (BSF) jawans have recovered and were discharged from COVID Hospital in Malkangiri on Wednesday, Malkangiri Collector Manish Agarwal said.
The administration tweeted, “Glad to share that 35 BSF jawans have recovered and are being discharged from COVID hospital Malkangiri.”
A video was also posted on the official Twitter account of Malkangiri Collector in which a BSF Jawan was seen sharing his experience.
On June 30, majority of BSF personnel had tested positive for COVID-19. About 29 of them were infected by the virus.
With 201 recoveries, Malkangiri district now has 171 active cases.
