New Delhi: India recorded 36,604 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours taking the country’s overall tally to 94,99,413 on Wednesday. With 501 more casualties, the coronavirus toll mounted to 1,38,122, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
The recovery rate stands at 94.03 per cent and fatality rate at 1.45 as per cent, said the Ministry.
There are 4,28,644 active cases currently with 89,32,647 patients have already been discharged, including 43,062 in the last 24 hours.
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 14,24,45,949 samples were tested so far, including 10,96,651 on Tuesday.
