Bhubaneswar: Even as the state witnessed the biggest spike of 4330 COVID-19 positive cases, 4018 more patients recovered from the disease and were being discharged on Sunday.
Of the day’s recovered cases, 840 were from Khurda district, followed by 434 from Cuttack, 274 from Puri, 194 from Balasore, 139 from Kendrapada, 136 from Sonepur, 126 from Jagatsinghpur, 120 from Jajpur, 116 from Angul, 113 from Rayagada, 111 from Jharsuguda and 104 from Bhadrak district, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, 95 patients recovered in Bargarh, 90 each in Sambalpur and Sundargarh, 88 in Koraput, 83 in Mayurbhanj, 77 in Nuapada, 75 in Kandhamal, 71 in Nabarangpur, 67 each in Dhenkanal and Ganjam, 60 in Nayagarh, 57 in Keonjhar, 46 in Balangir, 42 in Kalahandi, 34 in Boudh, 33 in Malkangiri, 17 in Deogarh, 15 in Gajapati. There were 204 recovered cases from from State Pool.
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 1,45,675.
