COVID-19: 476 New Cases Registered In Bhubaneswar, 3,585 Active Cases

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital saw 476 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. The number was 581 on Tuesday.

Of the new cases, 388 are local contacts and 88 quarantine cases, the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation tweeted on Wednesday.

With this, the total cases in the city have gone up to 37,204 and the active cases to 3585.

Of the total 5021 cases in Khurda district in the last 24 hours, Bhubaneswar accounts for 82 per cent with 4342 cases.

Among the places, Old Town reported maximum 33 cases, followed by 25 in Nayapalli, 23 in Patia, 21 in Chandrasekharpur, and 18 each in Khandagiri and Tankapani Road.

On the other hand, 140 patients have recovered taking the total recoveries to 33,348.
