COVID-19: Active Cases Cross 5K In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The active cases of COVID-19 crossed 5,000 in the city where 683 persons were infected by the virus on Sunday.

Of the new cases, 576 were local contacts and the rest 107 from quarantine centres. As many as 332 patients recovered from COVID-19 and were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 years.

Of the day’s cases maximum 48 were reported from Khandagiri followed by 34 from Baramunda and Nayapalli, 22 from Mancheswar and 21 from Chandrasekharpur.

With the new addition of positive cases, the active cases have gone up to 5113 in the Capital City.

The total COVID-19 cases have gone up to 39,920 while 34,534 patients have recovered from the disease till date.
