COVID-19 Alert: Cuttack Civic Body Asks Shopping Malls To Home Deliver Goods

Cuttack: Adhering to the social distancing guidelines of the Odisha government to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Wednesday directed 11 shopping malls to ensure home delivery of goods with effect from Thursday.

In a letter, the CMC authorities directed 11 shopping malls including eight Reliance Fresh outlets, two Metro Supermarkets and Big Bazar to receive the phone calls of customers and deliver goods at their houses.

The authorities also asked these shopping malls not to allow any customer into their premises failing which appropriate action will be taken against them.
