Bhubaneswar: To combat the challenge posed by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Centre on Tuesday asked all state governments to deploy fiscal resources for the establishment of additional medical facilities such as hospitals, clinical labs, isolation wards and expansion and upgradation of the existing facilities.
The facilities need to be well-equipped with ventilators, personal protective equipment (PPE), masks and drugs to treat the patients, the order added.
