COVID-19: Bhubaneswar Records 5 Cases

Bhubaneswar: After a sudden spike in new COVID-19 positive cases in the city with 19 new cases reported on Sunday, a fall in the number on Monday has brought some relief. Only five cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Sunday said three are from quarantine centres while two others are local contacts.

Of the total local cases, one each case was reported from Nayapalli and IRC Village.

Seven more patients have been cured of the disease in the last 24 hours.

A total of 31,808 people have been infected by the novel coronavirus in Bhubaneswar so far, of which 31,333 have recovered. There have been 245 deaths while the number of active cases currently is 209.
