Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital reported 27 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours.
According to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 14 of the new cases are local contacts while 13 are from quarantine.
Meanwhile, 33 more patients recovered from the disease during the period.
With this, the COVID-19 positive tally has gone up to 30,861 in the city.
While 30,231 patients have recovered, 221 have succumbed to the disease. There are 388 active cases at present, according to the BMC. Bhubaneswar recorded 32 cases on Thursday, whereas, the number was 24 on Wednesday.
