COVID-19: Bhubaneswar Reports 40 Recoveries, 31 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha capital reported 31 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

According to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 25 of the new cases are local contacts and six are from quarantine.

Meanwhile, 40 more patients recovered from the disease during the period.

With this, the COVID-19 positive tally in the city has gone up to 30,926.

So far, 30,314 patients have recovered and 225 have succumbed to the disease in Bhubaneswar. There are 366 active cases at present, according to the BMC.

Bhubaneswar recorded 34 cases on Saturday, 27 cases on Friday, 32 cases on Thursday, whereas, the number was 24 on Wednesday.
