Bhubaneswar: In a further dip in fresh COVID-19 positive cases on Friday, only four cases were reported in the city in the last 24 hours.
A day earlier on Thursday, the tally of new cases was seven and 11 on Wednesday.
The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) said two of the new cases are from quarantine centres and two are through local contacts.
Of the local contact cases, one each was reported from Dumduma and Shastri Nagar.
Also, four patients were cured of the disease in the last 24 hours.
A total of 31,780 people have been infected by coronavirus in Bhubaneswar so far, of which 31,315 have recovered. There have been 244 deaths while the number of active cases is 200 at present.
