COVID-19: Bhubaneswar’s 6 New Cases Are Local Contacts

Bhubaneswar: Six Covid-19 positive cases were reported in Odisha capital in the last 24 hours.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday said all the six are local contacts. At a time when the government is making all efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus, the news of all 6 cases being local contacts raises concern.

Of the total local cases, three were from Nayapalli and one each case was reported from Bomikhal, IRC Village and Satya Nagar.

Eight more patients have been cured of the disease in the last 24 hours.

A total of 31,819 people have been infected by the novel coronavirus in Bhubaneswar so far, of which 31,348 have recovered. There have been 245 deaths while the number of active cases currently is 205.
