Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday appealed to the people not to visit COVID-19 vaccination centres in the city without appointment.
In a video release, BMC commissioner PC Chaudhary said several vaccination centres in the city were found overcrowded as people not having registered their names also turned up for vaccination.
Stating that those, who have not been enlisted through registration for vaccination, will not be administered vaccine on a particular day, Chaudhary said they should not crowd the health centres.
Besides posing security risk, overcrowding will help spread of coronavirus among non-infected people, he added.
