Bhubaneswar: The East Coast Railways has appealed general public to refrain from visiting railway offices citing the resurgence of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha.
General Manager, East Coast Railway, Vidya Bhushan has requested people to seek information through email, phone, fax or SMS instead of visiting offices physically.
The ECoR GM also advised railway staff to strictly follow COVID-appropriate behaviour. He said it is mandatory to wear face masks, maintain social distance and wash hand frequently besides sanitising themselves.
He also called upon the staff to get themselves vaccinated when their turn comes.
