COVID-19 Case: Three Wards In Balasore Town Declared ‘Containment Zone’ For 7 Days

Balasore: A day after a 58-year-old man of Balasore town tested positive for COVID-19, the district administration on Sunday declared three wards as containment zone for contact tracing and active surveillance.

The areas have been sealed or seven days.

“Movement has been restricted and the administration will be providing essential goods to people in these wards,” informed Sub-Collector Nilu Mohapatra.

Around 400 families of the area will undergo health check-up, he added.

Earlier in the morning, Fire personnel disinfected the area.
