Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 caseload in the state capital went up to 60,281 on Saturday with 1,118 fresh cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 174 are from quarantine and 944 through local contacts (84%).
While Patia has the highest 58 cases, Nayapalli has 52, followed by Samantarapur (49), Khandagiri (48), Laxmisagar (35), Dumduma (33), Chandrasekharpur (30), Sailashree Vihar (24), Unit-9 (23), Jharpada and Badagada (20 each), Sundarpada (19), Rasulgarh (18), Niladri Vihar (17), Pokhariput and Unit-6 (16 each) and VSS Nagar (14).
On the other hand, 851 patients have recovered in the city.
With 48,286 recoveries, Bhubaneswar has 11,683 active cases.
