Cuttack: The number of COVID-19 cases in Cuttack district rose to 1,327 on Tuesday with 84 fresh cases being reported in the last 24 hours.
Cuttack Collector Bhabani Shankar Chayani said that of the fresh cases, 32 were from the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area. The remaining 52 cases were reported from the six blocks of Badamba (25), Mahanga (22), Nischintkoili (2), Kantapada (1), Cuttack Sadar (1) and Athagarh (1).
Out of the 1,327 positive cases reported in the district so far, 368 are active cases while 947 patients have recovered. Besides nine people from the district have succumbed to the virus till now.
