Bhadrak: The COVID-19 toll in the north Odisha district of Bhadrak touched six on Wednesday with the death of a 30-year-old woman, the district administration tweeted.
The district also saw 47 more people testing positive for the virus since Tuesday morning, which took the affected tally to 1733.
Among the new cases, 32 are from seven blocks in Basudevpur (4), Bhadrak (6), Bonth (7), Bhandaripokhari (2), Chandbali (2), Dhamnagar (8) and Tihidi (3) while 14 are from the three civic bodies in Basudevpur Municipality (3) Bhadrak Municipality (9) and Chandbali NAC (2).
Besides, one case belongs to another district.
With 935 recoveries, Bhadrak now has 788 active cases.
