Bhubaneswar: The capital city registered 485 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours against 568 cases the previous day.
Of the new cases, 383 are local contact cases and 102 quarantine cases, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The city currently has 5534 active cases and cumulative tally of positive cases stands at 83,170.
With 1,004 patients recovering from the virus in the last 24 hours, the total recovered cases in Bhubaneswar now stand at 77,242.
