Bhubaneswar: A further drop in COVID-19 cases in Odisha capital was recorded in the last 24 hour. A total of 25 new corona positive cases were reported in the last 24 hours while 9 had recovered from the infection.
As per the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, of the 25 cases, 11 are from quarantine and 14 are local contacts.
Of the local contact cases, two cases each have been reported from Pandra, Pahala, Kalpana and Khandagiri areas in the BMC limits. The rest are from Nayapalli, Bomikhal, IRC Village, Jaydev Vihar and Maitri Vihar.
The city had reported 50 new COVID-19 cases for two consecutive days and then there was a drop in daily caseload to 32 on Monday.
With this, the affected tally has touched 32,421. The city now has 257 active cases.
