Bhubaneswar: With two persons in Odisha’s Jajpur district testing novel coronavirus (COVID-19) positive, the district administration has begun the sanitization of Sanatrilochanpur and Saipur villages, which were declared as containment zones the previous day.
Talking to the media on Wednesday, Jajpur collector Ranjan Kumar Das said the sanitization drive will continue for a week in these two villages, which have sealed and movement of people restricted.
The sanitization is being done by the Fire Services personnel in presence of the local tehsildar and the BDO.
The collector also said that the administration has made necessary arrangements for home delivery of essential items to the people in these two villages.
