Bhubaneswar: Four more persons succumbed to COVID-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 1,843 as on Tuesday.
All the deceased had co-morbidities, as per a report by the Health and Family Welfare department.
The Health Department identified the deceased as:
1.A 70-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus and hypertension.
2.A 72-year-old male of Jajpur district who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus and hypertension.
3.A 77-year-old male of Kalahandi district who had chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease and cerebrovascular accident.
4.A 52-year-old male of Puri district who was also suffering from diabetes mellitus and hypertension.
On Monday the state had recorded three deaths, which included 2 from Sundargarh.
