Bhubaneswar: After a dip for three days, Odisha on Thursday again reported a spike of over 3,000 COVID-19 cases with 3,144 new patients reported in the last 24 hours.
The addition of new cases took the state’s cumulative tally to 2,44,142.
Of the new cases reported from all 30 districts, 1,825 are in quarantine centres and 1,319 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda led the tally with 562 new cases, followed by Cuttack (243), Sambalpur (136), Angul (128), Kalahandi (124), Puri (122), Kandhamal (116), Mayurbhanj (115), Nuapada (114), Nabarangpur (107), Sundargarh (105), Bhadrak (101), Jajpur (101), Bargarh (94), Balangir (86), Sonepur (86), Jharsuguda (83), Kendrapada (82), Jagatsinghpur (77), Dhenkanal (73), Balasore (72), Keonjhar (63), Nayagarh (58), Ganjam (38), Koraput (37), Rayagada (29), Malkangiri (28), Deogarh (24), Gajapati (9) and Boudh (1)
Besides, the state pool has 130 cases.
