Bhubaneswar: With COVID-19 positive cases making a substantial drop in the last 24 hours, the recoveries also slipped to less than 1,000 on Sunday.
As many as 905 patients recovered from the disease and were discharged from hospitals across the state. Of them, 92 were from Sundargarh, 60 from Keonjhar, 59 from Cuttack, 49 from Mayurbhanj, 48 from Khurda, 43 each from Jagatsinghpur and Sambalpur, 41 from Kalahandi and 40 from Nuapada, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
Similarly, there were 39 recoveries in Angul, Jajpur, Kendrapada and Puri, 32 in Boudh, 27 each in Balasore and Bargarh, 26 in Balangir, 22 in Nayagarh, 20 in Jharsuguda, 17 in Ganjam, 14 in Nabarangpur, 12 in Malkangiri, 11 in Dhenkanal, 10 each in Bhadrak and Koraput, 9 in Kandhamal, 7 in Sonepur, 4 each in Deogarh and Gajapati, 2 in Rayagada and 20 from State Pool.
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,05,813 against 313,961 positive cases with 638 new cases reported overnight.
