Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 death toll in Odisha rose to 2294 on Saturday with 21 patients from 11 districts succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.
Among the 11 districts, 4 fatalities are from Khurda (including 2 from Bhubaneswar), 3 from Angul, 2 each from Kalahandi, Kendrapada, Puri, Rayagada and Sundargarh and one each from Boudh, Gajapati, Koraput and Nuapada districts.
The deceased have been identified as:
1. A 74 years old female of Angul district.
2. A 82 years old male of Angul district.
3. A 31 years old male of Angul district.
4. A 70 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
5. A 78 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Coronary Artery Disease.
6. A 65 years old male of Boudh district.
7. A 81 years old male of Gajapati district.
8. A 47 years old female of Kalahandi district.
9. A 51 years old male of Kalahandi district.
10. A 75 years old male of Kendrapada district.
11. A 56 years old male of Kendrapada district.
12. A 44 years old male of Khurda district.
13. A 61 years old male of Khurda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
14. A 50 years old male of Koraput district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.
15. A 42 years old female of Nuapada district.
16. A 65 years old female of Puri district.
17. A 46 years old female of Puri district.
18. A 50 years old male of Rayagada district.
19. A 60 years old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Anemia.
20. A 40 years old male of Sundargarh district.
21. A 52 years old male of Sundargarh district.
