New Delhi: Delhi recorded the highest spike with 28,395 new COVID-19 cases and a positivity rate of 32 per cent in the last 24 hours on Tuesday, as per the Delhi government’s health department.
Going by the positivity rate of over 32.82 per cent, every third person who took the test in Delhi was found to be infected with the COVID-19.
The state govt’s health bulletin said that 86,526 COVID-19 tests were conducted in one day. Delhi’s COVID tally soared over 9 lakh, while the death toll surged to 12,638. Currently, there are 85,575 active cases in the national capital.
A total of 19,430 people recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, which took the total number of recoveries to 8,07,328.
